Sunday March 13th 10.00am – 12.00: Introductory workshop
A guide to origami for complete beginners, focussing on interesting designs, folding techniques and exploring your creativity.
1.00pm – 3.00pm: Introductory workshop
Thursday March 17th 5.00pm – 6.00pm: Short workshop for children and carers
A selection of simple designs aimed at younger folders. The idea is for parents/carers to fold alongside children and enjoy being creative together.
6.30pm – 8.30pm: Workshop for those working with people of all ages and abilities in education, leisure, play, therapy or anyone who might want to add a low-cost, stimulating activity to their repertoire. Lots of ideas about how to include origami in your workplace.
I’ve got two workshops this wednesday in Lincoln, one is sold out, not sure about the other. It’s part of a Japanese festival. Not sure about the image they chose from my site to promote this, I’m now beardless again 😉
The day went really well – just 7 of us (including Andrew who drove up from Wrexham!), but this allowed a lot more time to get to know each other and discuss things around a table. A good start and I’m thinking about next year already 😉
